Hello my name is Marlot, the visionary behind Tides & Trails, an online business that embodies the essence of waves navigating my path like a compass. The goal is to empower women in their journey of exploration, adventure and international living. It is my mission to create a supportive community for women who share their love for traveling, motorcycling and desire more freedom. It’s a space where women can find inspiration, practical advice and a network of like-minded who are navigating a similar path.

Start of 2024 I took a leap up of faith and jumped into the unknown to build a new life in Canada. The societal ideas of “success” like marriage, kids and a house felt unfulfilling and weigh heavily on women. I have felt the stressfull nature of these expectations, and it has fueled my determination to break free from the conventional narrative. 

As someone who has solo-traveled different destinations in the world, started as a motorcyclist, and is at the beginning of a new life in Canada, I understand the unique challenges and joys that come with such endeavors. These experiences have not only broadened my perspective but have also instilled in me a profound appreciation for the freedom and empowerment that can be found in each woman’s individual journey.
